Developing new Palettes ~ Pate de Verre
new upcoming works ~ a look at my sample process, going over colors and numbers on the paper sheets. 4x-new palette (plaster/silica sample-trays) for packing Pate de Verre. dry glass layout (no water/gum-arabic used in the picture documentation).
I take portions of each mix and build into the sample trays. This distinction helps me understand color and opacity before layering powders and packing glass into the actual sculpture/vessel.
